At the end of February, the first training sessions between Merano and Trento can be enjoyed. In autumn, too, road bikes are ridden here until the end of November. Switch to the surrounding mountains if it gets too hot in the valley in summer. There are plenty of roads with 1,000 or more metres of elevation gain. Tours to the Mendel Pass, Gampen Pass, Tschöggelberg, to Deutschnofen and the Fleimstal valley as well as the secluded pass roads of the Nonstal valley, are particularly popular.
